One of the metro area’s most popular master-planned communities, Seven Pines is 15 minutes and 9.2 miles from Jacksonville Beach and gorgeous Atlantic Ocean views. Casa Marina Hotel & Restaurant

A historic Jacksonville Beach option with fabulous rooftop views from its third-floor Penthouse Lounge. On the menu are small plates, appetizers, and inventive libations. The Penthouse Lounge also boasts an unbeatable view of another Jacksonville-area icon, the Jacksonville Beach Pier only a few blocks south of the Casa Marina Hotel.

The Casa Marina Hotel’s restaurant serves a legendary Sunday brunch in its dining room and a smaller-menu brunch in the Penthouse Lounge. The 23-room boutique hotel celebrates its 100th anniversary in July and also holds Historic Hotels of America and National Trust for Historic Preservation designations, so it’s a worthwhile beachside excursion for Seven Pines residents.

Located at 691 1st Street North in Jacksonville Beach.

Lemon Bar

Another unique waterfront dining destination in another historic venue a bit farther from Seven Pines, in Neptune Beach, the next Atlantic beach town north of Jacksonville Beach.

The Lemon Bar is in the courtyard of the Seahorse Oceanfront Inn, a circa-1956 hotel that offers restored mid-century lodging and amenities. For Seven Pines residents, it’s a destination jaunt up A1A, Florida’s east coast highway, for classic tropical coolers and drinks in a bar that’s as renowned as its surroundings.

Think tiny umbrellas, neon-colored straws, fresh fruit slices for an extra spritz of flavor and, depending on your choices, puffy whipped cream! Casual, fresh bar fare rounds out the Lemon Bar’s menu. If this sounds dreamy, it is, with the direct Atlantic views.

Located at 2 Lemon Street in Neptune Beach.

Marker 32

Right on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway and only a few miles north of Seven Pines, Marker 32 sits adjacent to Palm Cove Marina. Specializing in fresh seafood, steaks and other specialties, the restaurant is owned and operated by a Jacksonville-native chef and his family.

Located at 14549 Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville.

Mavi Waterfront Bar & Grill

Another dining option next to a marina, Mavi Waterfront Bar & Grill’s neighbor is Beach Marine. It’s also a quick drive north of Seven Pines and features fresh seafood, casual appetizers, snacks and bar favorites. Enjoy live music on the weekends along with shimmering views of the marine channel and Intracoastal Waterway just west of the restaurant.

Located at 2309 Beach Boulevard.
