Life Time acquired 8.5 acres from the Skinner family for $8.185 million in Seven Pines, Florida, for its first athletic resort in Northeast Florida and its sixth in the state.
The deal, facilitated by LTF Real Estate Company Inc. from Minnesota, was finalized on March 29 with the Duval County Clerk recording on April 8. The new facility will include a two-story, 85,000-square-foot athletic club and a 50,000-square-foot outdoor beach club, featuring various amenities.
Expected to take 18-24 months for construction, the project aims to create over 150 jobs. The city has already approved the development, highlighting resource sustainability, with Colliers International Florida and England, Thims & Miller Inc. assisting in the purchase and engineering.
