Build Your Residential Legacy at Seven Pines
Looking to begin a new season with a new northeast Florida home? Perhaps it’s not a new season for you and yours, but a personal, career or family-motivated move that calls for a change. Either way, Seven Pines — Jacksonville’s newest master-planned community — is a great place to anchor your new beginning.
Taking shape on the city’s bustling south side, Seven Pines offers more than 1,000 acres of recreational opportunities, beautiful natural landscapes, innovative floor plans and checklist amenities. It’s also mere minutes from Jacksonville’s top shopping, dining and entertainment district to the west — St. Johns Town Center — and Atlantic beaches to the east.
As the community opens, we’re ending our countdown of the seven reasons why Seven Pines is a great place to call home.
Previous reasons include life (No. 1), love (No. 2) location (No. 3), land (No. 4), laughter (No. 5) and luxury (No. 6). Reason No. 7 to consider Seven Pines for your new custom Florida home is legacy — both the one that inspired this community and others yet to be created by future homeowners here.
A curated landscape
The property where Seven Pines is taking shape has a legacy all its own. It now awaits new residents who will create their legacies in concert with a special site.
As longtime Jacksonville locals, the Skinner family owned the property where Seven Pines is being built, plus much of the surrounding acreage. Their ownership spanned several generations and the Skinner family often used the land for annual Thanksgiving celebrations and dinners. In fact, Seven Pines’ tagline is “A legacy of gathering.”
Much to look forward to
Add convenience to Seven Pines’ many attributes. While nestled amid oaks, pines and palms, the community also is round the corner from the Butler Boulevard-Interstate 295 interchange. I-295 is Jacksonville’s beltway, which takes residents anywhere in the metro area.
When you search for that new home or lot, expect fresh home designs, inter-connected neighborhoods, walking trails, and a 7,900-square-foot amenity center reflected by a large lake.
Inside the amenity center are a large fitness center and social spaces. Outside are two resort-style swimming pools (one for lap swims), a cabana and a kids’ spray park.
There’s room to grow at Seven Pines. It’ll total 1,600 single-family homes at build-out and apartment living will be in the mix. Additional resources and convenience are on the board, too. One million square feet of commercial and retail space will join the community, providing on-site shopping and services.
Why Seven Pines is unique
Seven Pines is coming to life on acreage from Jacksonville’s longtime-resident Skinner family.
The community is a collaboration between ICI Homes and Houston-based David Weekley Homes. It’s being built with the Skinner family’s vision in mind, and its name pays homage to the family — Seven Pines for seven Skinner brothers!
